Craig W. Chenery is a British born award winning author and screenwriter, with a particular interest in the zombie, horror, comedy, pop culture, Star Wars and special effects genres. Chenery is also a songwriter, improvisor and voice-over actor. == Writing == Craig W. Chenery is the author of the critically and commercially acclaimed award winning "Blood Splatter: A Guide to Cinematic Zombie Violence, Gore and Special Effects".〔(Phoenix New Times Top 5 Things to Do This Weekend )〕 Blood Splatter is an in depth look at how the zombie genre has been defined by gore and special effects. Over two years of research, Chenery interviewed dozens of seasoned genre professionals, including Greg Nicotero, Tom Savini, John Russo and Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Entertainment. Since its release, Blood Splatter has placed in Amazon.com's top 100 horror books on many occasions. Chenery is currently working on his first full length novel, "Don't Make Me Come Down There". Chenery is the co-author of the "Butch G. Cat" series of children's novels children's book series. The first two books in the series were released in late 2012 and book three was released September 2013. The brand was officially launched at the 2012 Orange County Children's Book Festival in Orange County, California to massive sales. Additional books were planned before the series was canceled due to personnel issues outside of his control. In 2014, Chenery released "The Comicon and Convention Survival Guide". Chenery has also contributed stories and articles to numerous horror and Steampunk anthologies.
